Mother Earth Essentials was founded to share nature-inspired teachings rooted in the plants of the Medicine Wheel, drawing on the knowledge of founder Carrie Armstrong—who descends from a long line of Cree Medicine Women—and elder Francis Whiskeyjack (Cree, Saddlelake FN), with Carrie’s vision for a bath and beauty line first sparked during her teaching role at Amiskwaciy Academy, where she used traditional plants to connect students with their heritage.
